The Centre for Neuro Skills (CNS) provides post-acute brain injury rehabilitation programs at facilities in Bakersfield, California, Encino, California and Irving, Texas.

"CNS is different from other rehabilitation facilities because of a combination of experience focusing on a specific population and our attention to detail in the implementation of our services. I'm most proud of the impact we've made in people's lives and being able to see our clients go from being completely dependent to returning to work, to home, to their family -- it's very gratifying." -- Mark Ashley, President

Store to Door is a volunteer based, community social service non-profit organization that has served Portland area elderly and disabled people since 1990 with a low-cost, personalized shopping and delivery service so that they can maintain their independence and self-sufficiency in their own homes.

Approximately 85% of the 225 clients are elderly and 15% are disabled and under the age of 65. For many, the service is essential in their ability to live independently rather than in an institutionalized setting or in the care of family. Store to Door brings those receiving Meals on Wheels or living in communities where meals are provided essentials such as prescriptions, household items, and supplementary food and beverages. Store to Door is an authorized in-home service provider for clients with entitlements such as Medicaid whose delivery fees are paid from government funds. Store to Door volunteers interact personally with clients. The agency is in the unique position of having weekly phone contact and visits to the homes of people who often live isolated lives. Multnomah County Aging Services has enlisted Store to Door in their Gatekeeper program to serve as a resource in identifying frail elderly who might be at risk and in need of additional social services.
